Edward felt the cold steel of the blade against his throat. He didn’t move.

“So you have followed me. Who are you, why are you following and then hiding from me?”

Henry heard the words through Edward's microphone and immediately alerted Hereford. Edward said nothing he just sat still, she had the advantage.

“Speak to me fool.”

“I do not know what you mean, I am on a training course. I was told if I was captured I should say nothing.” She had obviously spotted him when he trailed her. Edward hope to add to her confusion, and to buy time by pretending to be something else not threatening to her but plausible.”

“You are a fool, I am not a fool. You give name and rank when captured. You are following me, why?”

“I am a civilian not military.” Edward said, recovering a knife of his own into his right hand. A sharp stab down into her foot and roll back simultaneously would do it.

“I can waste no more time on you,” she said, and then there was a click.
